Charles Darwin Foundation
The Charles Darwin Foundation is the leading international science and research NGO in the Galapagos archipelago. This bold, eye-catching identity makes use of macro-photography taken of the skin, bark, feather and scale textures of the endemic species found on Galapagos. It transforms the CDF into a modern and progressive organisation who ‘see things from a unique perspective’ and challenges the audiences perception of the archipelago.
The three month long project was undertaken as an unpaid volunteer, and I lived and worked in the town of Puerto Ayora, on Isla Santa Cruz. The design work was never implemented.
